Moving On, Moving In

TPA love to make the people we support feel empowered. If you are thinking of making a move towards living more independently, let us help you!

TPA understands that finding a place to call ‘Home’ is a life-changing experience. TPA has developed a unique ‘Moving On, Moving In’ process to ensure this life-defining experience runs smoothly. TPA strongly believes that this transition is successful when planned well with the right support, the right housemates and the right location.

A member of our friendly team will contact you to arrange a home visit/assessment with you and those involved with your care.


Following our home visit/assessment, you will be invited to visit TPA properties with vacancies. During this visit you may meet the current housemates.


After visiting, if you are happy and would like to carry on with the ‘Moving On, Moving In’ process – it will then be down to all the relevant professionals involved with your care, to apply to TPA and fill in all the relevant forms with you.


Once all of the forms have been completed and your application successful, a member of the TPA team will be in contact to arrange the next steps to your TPA journey.


This is where the fun begins! A move-in date will be discussed and regular visits to your new home will take place.


Once plans are in place for you to move in, our Maintenance Team can assist you with any help you may need to move and set up furniture/possessions in your new home. 


On your Moving In day, you will receive a TPA starter pack, to help you settle into your new home. Welcome!
